Briliant! That is one masterpice of a bat-leth!  All modifications increase the structual integrity of the blade (especially at the weak points) while adding, yet it works aestheticly as well, all while adding minimal wheight to the blade.
I do however see one possible drawback in the new design. 
The new wingtips do not fully follow the original circle segment design. Is it possible that one might need to restrain ones movement slightly in certain "reaching" swings so to not risk cut one self?

Regardless, I crave the touch of baconite!

Where can I get my hands on one?
