Where Worlds Collide and Galaxies Sing...

Another really interesting short film, takes place on the heels of WWII, titled "Project Arbiter". This looks really good, a bit bloody at points, and very much a period piece with a little Dieselpunk feel to it. A very interesting premise that I'd like to see expanded upon.

This short indie film puts me in mind of The Matrix and Terminator, but not from a human perspective - an alien civilization who's machines turned against them. Definitely interesting and gives a sort of oh shit moment at the end. Nicely done, would be interesting as a full length film.

Seaking of shorts and proof of concept, here's one I actually have an original DVD of! It's called Kaze Ghost Warrior, produced in 2003 and released in 2004, it was written, directed, produced, and voiced all by one man, Timothy Albee. Definitely a work of cinematic art.

And this is the prequel radio drama he produced for Kaze.

This one's very Twilight Zone/Outer Limits kind of thing. It's called "Unearthed" and you'd swear it's one thing only for them to yank the rug out from under you. Some would think it "predictable" while others will be caught off guard by the revelation. I enjoyed it and I think it's worth a look.

Another proof of concept short, this one from 2012. It seems they were never able to get it off the ground, but it does show some promise regardless. It's called "Tether". Wish it could have been more fully realized.

Check out my other indie shorts journals as well!

Those are all great.

But what I really want to see is a film about a world that takes place just after a machine uprising, but one where the robots lost and wound up being send to the exterminator for it.

While one human finds a little innocent small android with the mind of a small child (im thinking about 10-11 years old) and shows compassion and mercy for "it"
while they run away from the humans who want to dismantle them both. Basically terminator with the roles reversed.
