Description:
This is a basic overview of Transformer anatomy as dictated in canon and expanded upon by me. Some things are actually named or defined by me, while others are canon terms and information. I am borrowing a CG render of movie Optimus Prime from Hasbro to help illustrate the anatomy being pointed out in this file, but only as a secondary aide to the information I have written here. Much of this information is expanded upon in the info files I have already posted in my gallery. I simply wanted to offer this as a visual aide for those who are uncertain of what is where on a Transformer chassis. Contrary to TFA calling EVERYTHING on a Transformer's body a "Servo" (short for Servomechanism which is a motorized joint), their hands should not be called Servos, they are Dactyls (real world term), and their feet are Peds (real world term), not bases (bases are immobile bottoms of structures such as columns). **winks**

Actually, most of it is canon which I have expanded upon. Thank you for asking and no, I don't mind at all if you use this for your stories. **smiles** All I ask is that you give credit where credit is due.

Are you certain you are not an Autobot in disguise? You seem to know far too much about us to be simply a human who researches a wide variety of subjects. Your knowledge base is significantly broader and more extensive than most humans who are double your own chronological age.
