(Seahawks) Seahawks Ride the NW Wind!

Description:
While I don't normally get into sports at all, including football, the Seattle Seahawks are the local NFL team up here and mom's been a Greenbay fan since age 10 and a 'Hawks fan since she moved up here.  The Seahawks are in fact NFC Conference champions - 2005 and 2013; AFC West Division champions - 1988 and 1999; NFC West Division champions - 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, and 2013; and now they are 2013 League champions.  The 12th Man (the fans) were gunning for a win.  And win they DID!  Seattle stomped Denver 43-8, a 35 point split leaving the poor Broncos whipped hard while the Seahawks bring the Super Bowl trophy home to the 12th Man.   As for the stamps, just me showing my support for the local home team.  **smirks**

The story behind this particular stamp: as the game began with the Seahawks winning the coin toss, a wind out of the North West blew across the stadium.  A birds of prey, hawks and eagles ride the air currents, the wind, to fly and soar.  The Seahawks are from Seattle and the Pacific North West.  Can we say "Omen Much?"  **chuckles**
