Sacred is the act by which my hands are browned,
It is the act by which I offer my prayer.
Sacred is the act by which my hands are blackened,
It is the act by which I offer my prayer.
Sacred is the act by which my face is browned,
It is the act by which I offer my prayer.
Sacred is the act by which my face is blackened,
It is the act by which I offer my prayer.
Sacred is the light that falls upon my face,
The day on which my prayers are finished.
