I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar.
If you don't know what this is for or what it means, you're obviously not a Browncoat. Yes, the eclectic tiggy is a Browncoat and proud of it. XD It was a good series, totally sucked that it was not given a proper chance to blossom, especially with how great the camaraderie and chemistry among the cast was and still is 10 years later. Most of them wish it had continued and are themselves Browncoats. Hell, if you watch "Castle" at all, there are so many references and nods dropped to make any Browncoat squee with joy.

Sadly, Fox was apparently desperate to get the show cancelled and pulled all the stops to ensure it's low ratings and subsequent cancellation because it was deemed Anti-Government by the studio. They played episodes out of order, skipped a couple episodes all together, played the pilot a month or so into the series, and kept changing the timeslot so that people would lose interest. But that didn't stop the fan base from turning it into a cult classic practically overnight, nor did it stop the show from receiving an Emmy, a Visual Effects Society award, two Saturn awards, and five SyFy Genre Awards, as well as a second Visual Effects Society award nomination, a Golden Reel Award nomination, two Hugo Award nominations, and a Golden Satellite Award nomination.
The Ballad of Serenity
Take my love. Take my land. Take me where I cannot stand.
I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me.
Take me out to the black. Tell em I ain't comin' back.
Burn the land And boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
There's no place I can be, since I found Serenity.
But you can't take the sky from me.

Do NOT use my stamps as a free license to start a debate; that is NOT why I post stamps. I post stamps to share them with like minded people for their enjoyment, and for those who support what the stamps are about to feature in their collections or favourites. Do not copy my designs either. These are personal pieces and will not be for sale at any point in time.
i wish they had gone further with the series it was awesome
Totally agreed, a lot of Browncoats would agree with that. XD
aww Wash i cired the first time i saw the movie and this part came up
I know, was so sad to see Wash go like that. The actor actually commented on the fact that one gal asked for his autograph and the poor thing burst into tears when he wrote that quote with his signature on the picture. He felt so bad for upsetting her like that, he so didn't mean to. He talked about it on the "Browncoats Unite 10th Anniversary Special" that aired on the Science channel a few weeks ago.
