These are some of my goodies I picked up at the 5th annual Jet City Comic Show in Washington State (this one took place in Downtown Tacoma). As much as I love Battlestar Galactica, The A-Team, and The Last Unicorn, I HAD to go to this. I got to meet, talk with, get autographs from, and photos with, Dirk Benedict, Richard Hatch, and Peter S Beagle!
They were so very sweet and quite personable, very nice guys. **grins** The show was pretty awesome, very relaxed and laid back, and the 501st helped raise money for this year's chosen charity, the Wounded Warrior Project. Next year will be expanded to a 2 day event and I am going! XD You can catch a video walk through I did on youtube. Yes, it's 20 minutes long but you get to see a lot of who was there. I ran into some friends I hadn't seen in a few years and bumped into my buddy 1314 and his wife while I was there too (they appear at about time index 19:30 to 19:45 in my video)!
The photos of Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict are indeed hand signed by them (including the one for my mother of Richard Hatch as Tom Zarek, center top, which is as yet still unframed), and I picked up frames for my set of four signed photos which you can see lined up in the bottom picture. I love the little bits they put in along with the "To..." and their names (bottom photo left to right), Dirk has a great sense of humor and both of them are just awesome:
