The origins of the Triskeli is actually from the celtic spiral seen in the illuminated pages of the Book of Kells and other old Celtic (particularly Irish) manuscripts. It is a three point spiral representing the divine trinity.

While I'm not religious, let alone Christian as most would see it (I have my own personal spiritual beliefs there), the spiral is an ancestral symbol to me and thus holds meaning in other ways.  It has become one of a small hand full of personal symbols I use, thus why I drew my own version of it.

Here I have taken it and given it a little more depth and color, using three of my favourites: Black, Blood Red, and Silver Gray. Its meaning for me is my own, but I leave you to interpret it how you wish.
